Pay for the position:
- $17.00/hr
Shift for the position:
- 2nd Shift: 2:30pm—11pm
Job requirements for the position may include:
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced troubleshooting & critical thinking
- Training & shop floor leadership Able to run multiple machines across the department
- Select and install blades on the machine using hand tools and sets controls to adjust the speed, feed rate and blade tensions.
- Position guides, stops, holding blocks or other fixtures to secure and direct the workpiece, using hand tools and measuring devices.
- Scribe reference lines on the material as a guide for sawing operations, according to blueprints, templates, sample parts or specifications.
- Verify dimensions of finished workpieces, using measuring devices.
- Perform basic maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating machine parts.
- Start up and shut down machines properly.
- Consistently and safely operate machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
- Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine-related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
